Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Cranie said: "The games where we have lost points have not been because we have been playing badly. It's because we have been making small errors and ended up getting beaten by the odd goal.
"We've been working on the training ground to try and get rid of those mistakes and little lapses in concentration because when we've been playing well we've been playing really well.
"We haven't been getting beat by big margins. It has been by the odd goal like against Leeds, QPR and Birmingham but the way we played in those games has shown we're not too far away.
"We just need to put the practice into action on Saturday against Palace, who we played well against the last time they came to the Ricoh, and try and get the three points."
