Gary McSheffrey feels that Coventry City have twenty two cup finals left after the Sky Blues lifted themselves off the bottom of the Championship table with a 2-0 win against Brighton on Saturday.
Speaking to the CT, McSheffrey said: "We've scored back to back wins, kept two clean sheets and we're off the bottom of the table - only on goal difference but you wouldn't believe how things like that can pep you up.
"We've got 22 games left and like the old cliche says we've got to treat them as 22 cup finals.
"But we're digging in, we've shown what we can do and when you do your best you never know what can happen."
