A progress report on a couple of former Coventry City youngsters.
Coventry born Michael Quirke, the goalkeeper, who came through City's Academy to progress to City's first team and played one game for the Republic Of Ireland U21's is currently playing as a midfielder for Coventry Copsewood in the Midland Football League Division One.
Quirke, who now works for Encore Personnel Services, was released by City in 2011 and has played for Coalville in two spells, Leamington, Bedworth, Loughborough Dynamos and Kettering Town.
Former Coventry City youngser Jamal Wiseman who joined City's Academy after being released from Arsenal is at Southampton Solent University and plays for their football team - Team Solent in the Wessex Football League. Wiseman scored in a 6-2 win against Ringwood on Tuesday night with a header.
