Coventry City have been drawn at home to Arlesey Town in the FA Cup First Round proper on November 2nd, 3rd or 4th, subject to the demands of ESPN and ITV, but who are Arlesey Town?
Arlesey Town are based at the 2,920 capacity Armadillo Stadium on the Hitchin Road in the Bedfordshire town of Arlesey, close to Biggleswade, Hitchin and Letchworth Garden City.
It is not a big town. In fact, it is so small that the the full away end allocation at the Ricoh Arena is bigger than the population of Arlesey.
They were formed in 1891, won the FA Vase with victory over Oxford City at Wembley in 1995 and were promoted to the Southern League Premier Division after winning the United Counties League and eventually, the Southern League Central Division in 2011.
Arlesey, managed by former Cambridge Utd, Norwich City ,Bradford City, Wycombe Wanderers and Torquay United player Zema Abbey. are currently eighth in the Southern League Premier Division table with seventeen points from ten matches.
They have beaten Bedworth United 1-0 but lost 4-3 at Leamington in two of those ten league matches.
They progressed to this season's FA Cup First Round with a 4-3 win over Brackley Town and a 1-0 win at Didcot Town and will have to wear their away kit for the game at the Ricoh Arena as they play in Sky Blue shirts.
Their next game is away to Cray Wanderers in the FA Trophy next Sunday.
