Speculation is rife that four more Coventry City players could be on their way out of the club. With Matt Heath,Mikkel Bischoff gone on free transfers and Richard Duffy and Clive Clarke returned after their loan spells ended, Elliott Ward, Stern John and Stephen Hughes have all been linked with moves.
Ward who signed in the summer from West Ham in a £1m deal with payments spread over four years is attracting interest from Charlton and Fulham. Fees in the region of £3m have been suggested which if they were to materialise would give the board a decision to either back the manager with cash for players or replace him in the hope of getting into the Premiership at the end of this season and pick up a £50m jackpot.

Stern John has received interest from Beitar Jerusalem and Birmingham City and with the striker now able to talk to other clubs, City might take any cash they can get for the 30 year old.

Stephen Hughes has been the source of interest from a number of clubs in the Championship and League One. Left out of the side for the defeat at Leeds, Hughes may decide that his future is elsewhere if he can find a club willing to match his wages.

Andy Whing could be going as well. Brighton have made an offer for the right back but it was rejected by Micky Adams who said: "It wasn't a written offer, it was an offer put to me by Dick Knight (Brighton Chairman) but I turned it down because it wasn't acceptable,"   With Whing earning rave reviews whilst at Adams former club, the Seagulls are expected to make another bid.
