Speaking to the CT, the City manager said:"We know anybody in this league can beat anybody else on their day, so who knows what's going to happen in the next dozen games.
"We've give ourselves an outside chance but first and foremost we've got to maintain the workrate and spirit we showed at Palace because that's what gets you results in this league.
"I'd rather play effective football and win games rather than play attractive football and end up drawing or losing."
