Whose For Currie?
The deal is until January 1st with a view to a permanent signing and the winger who will be 32 on November 29th will go into the squad to face Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
Ipswich boss Jim Magilton told his club's website: "Darren is joining Coventry on loan until January and then we'll see what develops from there.
"I have spoken to Darren throughout the season and I know that he wants to be playing regular first-team football.
"I can fully understand that and wasn't any different as a player myself but I told Darren that I couldn't guarantee him a place in the side.

"We've got players coming back from injury and Gary Roberts has come into the side and done well so I told him that I wouldn't stand in his way if he wanted to go out on loan.
"He goes to Coventry with our best wishes and we'll see how things develop from there."
