Huddersfield Town are now seemingly unlikely to try and obtain the services of Coventry City's Leon Clarke or Callum Wilson in the summer.
Mark Robins, who was at Sixfields taking in a City game and rumoured to be watching City's two leading scorers, has signed Nahki Wells from Bradford City and is chasing Kidderminster winger Joe Lolley.
Huddersfield broke their transfer fee record to sign Wells who has completed a four and a half year deal. No fee has been officially announced but the Huddersfield Examiner are quoting a fee of £1.3m.
