Swindon Town head coach Luke Williams was happy with what he thought was a great win as his side won 3-1 at Coventry City.
Williams, whose side scored through Nicky Ajose and Jonathan Obika in the first half and through Ajose in the second half before George Thomas scored a consolation goal for the Sky Blues, told the Press Association: "It's great to win any game, but especially one like this. We knew it would be a scrap and it would be difficult to get some rhythm into the game.
"Coventry are down there with us so it was about denying them valuable points as well as getting points for ourselves. The first two goals were great deliveries and great finishes.
"We knew Coventry would come out and scrap in the second half and it was about personality, how strong you are as individuals.
"It was a full-blooded affair and we showed a pack mentality to stick together. I was disappointed to concede a goal, but we were definitely value for the win.
"We've fallen at too many hurdles this season, but after a good performance against Oldham and a good win today we can build confidence and hopefully see some consistency.
"The attitude and commitment the lads showed is what's going to be needed."
