Coventry City defender Jordan Willis has said that he is very pleased to have signed a new deal.
Willis, who captains City's U21 side when he is not on first team duty, penned a new two year deal with the option of another year and told Kieran Crowley: "My contract was due to be up at the end of this year and to get called in early to get a new contract is great.
“You are always looking to do your best and hope to get a new contract but it doesn’t play on your mind at this stage of this season.
“Knowing that the manager likes you, and offering you a new contract, it really gives you confidence on the pitch, knowing that you are doing the right things.”
