Coventry City midfield/forward Callum Wilson has said that he is delighted to be back from injury.
Wilson came on as a substitute in the defeat at Carlisle United on Sunday after recovering from three foot fractures in the last year.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, the Coventry born Wilson who came through City's Academy said: It was the first time I have travelled with the squad for a long time and I was delighted to get on the pitch; over the moon.
“I have been working hard, getting my head down and you know with this manager that you’re going to get a chance.
“I felt I did OK, but overall it was a disappointing team performance in which we had chances to win the game.
“The manager told me to go on and work hard, keep the ball and try to get in behind. I obviously wanted to score a goal or spark something.
“But we have shown that we are more than capable in this league, certainly good enough to get promoted and my aim is to be part of that.”
