Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that Callum Wilson's shoulder operation has been successful.
Wilson dislocated his shoulder in the 3-1 win at Rotherham United on New Year's Day and had an operation to pin his shoulder and speaking about this to Andy Turner of the Coventry Telegraph, City manager Steven Pressley said: “He had his op about nine days ago and everything appears to have been successful.
“I think he’s had it pinned and we’re now looking at another seven weeks before he’s available and fit again.
“It’s obviously disappointing but hopefully he’ll come back fit and fresh and ready to help us in our final surge.
“It’s a real shame because not only are we in an exciting period just now, with the Arsenal game and things, but he has worked so hard all season,” he said.
“And now he’s missing out on the game at The Emirates. But he seems in good spirits and in a good place just now, and totally focused on getting himself back to the levels.”
