Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he is confident that Callum Wilson will be able to adapt to Championship football.
Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner about Wilson who could appear this eveing in a pre-season game for AFC Bournemouth: "I like strikers to have one outstanding attribute and the one thing with Callum is he’s got that in blistering power and speed, and regardless of the level he’s at that will always cause problems.
“And that’s why I think he will make an impact in the Championship.
“I’m really proud of what he’s achieved and I reminded him before he went that what he achieved was down to hard work and to never to lose sight of that.
“He’s just a fantastic boy and I really had a lot of time for him and I desperately want to see him succeed.
“He chose the right club working under a very good manager in Eddie Howe and he’s likely to be seen as the main striker, which I feel is very important.”
