Coventry City boss Chris Coleman is trying to sign the 18 year old, who has been playing with Breidablik, from the clutches of a host of Bundesliga clubs and Dutch side AZ 67 Alkmaar.
Said Coleman to the CT: "He's just turned 18, so just a puppy, but he trained with us today for the first time and I was very impressed with him."
Also training yesterday was Jay Tabb, who has missed the last two matches with flu. Chris Coleman said: "He trained today but looked about 60 years of age. "But he will be all right come Monday and it will be good to get him back."
