Coventry City central defender Richard Wood is feeling the frustration of a poor season and believes that repeated inconstant performances are to blame.
Wood, speaking to the CT, said: “I don’t think we did well in the first half at Brighton and it seems to be the story of this season that we don’t do well for one half and then perform in the other, so we need to get a bit of consistency about us and perform for the full 90 minutes,” he said.
“It if very frustrating because we are doing well but just conceding very sloppy goals and I don’t think we are creating enough at the moment.
“We have to keep our heads up, dig in deep and make sure we are all in it together because we are at the bottom of the league and things are going against us a lot.
"We have to keep playing the way the manager and Steve Harrison want us to play because it does work.”
