Richard Wood is set to face Walsall on Saturday after recovering from an ankle injury which enforced a late withdrawal from the Northampton game on Wednesday evening.
Wood picked up the injury in the warm up at Sixfields, but has recovered in time to be in contention for the vist to Walsall's Bank's stadium.
Boothroyd said to the CT of Wood: "Woody took a knock in training which is getting a little bit feisty, which is good. The players wear shin pads and they are getting into each other because we are looking to be competitive in games and training, and he took a little whack on his ankle but he will be OK and available."
