Worth A Read is the article in the Coventry Telegraph about Ricoh Arena owners Wasps launching a bond which will be tradable on the London Stock Exchange’s Order book for Retail Bonds, to raise funds to pay the debt owed to Coventry City Council for its bail out of Arena Coventry Limited and a debt of £3.9m to the Close Brothers Group.
Wasps, who are refusing to say exactly how many people have paid to get into their matches at the Ricoh Arena since they moved in, are expecting people to buy bonds at £2,000 a time which offers a twice yearly payment of 6.5%
