Coventry City have signed Yakubu Aiyegbeni.
The 34 year old Nigerian is well travelled having played in Israel, Spain, China, Qatar and Turkey as well as in England with the likes of Portsmouth, Middlesbrough, Everton, Leicester, Blackburn and Reading.
The Yak has been training with City over the last week and was due have to have signed on Friday.
However, talks regarding wages etc were rumoured to be why the deal was not done. These appear to have been resolved and the striker has signed for the relegation haunted Sky Blues until the end of the season.
