Speaking to the CT, Boothroyd said:"I'm wary of saying things like this but I think Saturday's game at Scunthorpe was a marker of how far we have come.
"After a decent result against Burnley, we were away on a difficult pitch, the weather was awful but we put in a very professional performance to come away with a clean sheet and three points.
"If you are going to become a better team you have to raise the bar every day.
"The minute, you think you can turn it on and off like a light switch you are in trouble. That's where a lot of teams fall down and we certainly won't be doing that."
