Former Coventry City loanee Zavron Hines has signed a two year deal with Dagenham & Redbridge FC.
Hines had been with the Daggers last season but was not offered a new deal until this week and now the striker has signed a two year contract.
Hines told Dagenham's club website: “It feels good to be back, I’m very happy to be honest. The gaffer is one of the main reasons I’m back and I want to help him build on last season.
“I’m just really excited and I want to work hard, everyone says Dagenham and Redbridge are a small club, but we’ve got a good Manager, a good set of fans and a lot of ambition.”
Unfortunately, Hines will have to wait to be part of Wayne Burnett's immediate plans on the pitch as he recovers from a knee injury that kept him out of the end of the Daggers campaign last season.
“My rehab is going alright, I don’t believe I’m too far away. I’m taking each day as it comes and see how my knee reacts to certain exercises.
“I won’t put a time scale on it as I don’t think that is right, but when the time is right I’ll be back, hopefully sooner rather than later.”
