Warwickshire lost their LV County Championship game against Durham at Chester Le Street by a massive 219 runs this afternoon.
Durham pace man Steve Harmison did the damage to a Warwickshire side needing to score 243 runs with their remaining 7 wickets on the final day of play.
Harmison started the decay in the third over of the day trapping Ateeq Javid lbw for 30 runs. From then on there was a procession of Bears batsman walking to and from the pavilion as they collapsed to 134 all out, with Harmison claiming 7 wickets for only 29 runs in the second innings.
Troughton top scored for the Bears with 43, but with a total of four players falling for ducks, what promised to be a close encounter at the start of the final day turned into a rout.
The win for Durham lifted them to fifth in the table with the 21 points, but with only 4 points for Warwickshire, relegation remains a very real worry.
