So after my half arsed new year’s day return talking vaguely about football and bank fraud, it’s time to get back into the meat of the blog: titting about in various towns taking pictures of crap buildings on a weekend away. And what better place to resume than Scunny.
Have I been here before?
I’ve been Southampton but I’ve never been to Scunthorpe. Just one of many similarities between myself and acclaimed British rapper of the early part of the decade Tinie Tempah.
The town
The industrial garden town of North Lincolnshire. Most famous for being the scourge of profanity filters everywhere, an affliction known as the Scunthorpe Problem.
In actuality the Scunthorpe problem isn’t letters 2-5 of its name. It’s the sheer bleakness of the place.
