Coventry City worked hard in a 6-0 win at German Fifth Tier TSV Wachtendonk.
Pressley who hopes to bring in two trialists on Wednesday, came over and shook the hands of the seven City supporters who were in the Sportpark Laerheide, Schoelkensdyck in Wachtendonk, Germany as the team arrived for this hastily arranged friendly which had seen supporters changing plans and forced to get expensive taxis to get over the border or hire cars.
There were 21 City fans in the ground when City in their sky blue kit took to the pitch on a gorgeous evening.
In the opening seconds, Leon Clarke rises to head home a Christie cross, but he was ruled offside.
The City supporters did not have to wait long and in the sixth minute, agreat ball from Adam Barton over the area to Baker on the right side, who slips the ball to Leon Lobjoit, who scores from close range.
City were far too good and with Cyrus Christie a constant threat along with Carl Baker pulling strings chances continued.
Leon Clarke fired wide after being sent through, Christie won a corner and Christie sent in another decent cross which . Lobjoit got onto the end of it, but had his effort cleared away.
With the assistant referee on the side where the dugouts are is incurring the wrath of the City support, another City corner was sent over to Barton, but the ball is cleared upfield.
We had reached the 20th minute when the home side sent in a long ball from a free kick which just missed Pressner at the far post.
In the 24th minute, City went two goals up thanks to some good work from Leon Clarke who plays in Franck Moussa inside the area to score past the keeper's left hand side.
Chances continued and on the half hour, it was three when Carl Baker scored. with a 20 yard drive after good work from Haynes and Lobjoit.
A fourth game when Leon Clarke lifted the ball over the keeper after a great ball from Phillips and in the 43rd minute, Franck Moussa scored his second with a shot on the turn from inside the area.
City used all six subs at half-time with Murphy, Baker, both Clarkes, Moussa and Thomas are the players replaced.
The home side were more resolute in the second half with their keeper having to make good saves to deny Wilson.
Adams and Wilson had efforts on goal before Ben Maund thumped the post in the 71st with a neat shot.
With three minutes remaining, City wrapped up a good win when Billy Daniels finished smartly from the edge of the area to give City a 6-0 win.
