Coventry City took another step towards League 2 after a 3-0 defeat at Northampton Town
The Sky Blue support bought every Ticket available and were out in Northampton early for the second nearest away game of the season.
The game was held up in the eleventh minute due to flares being thrown on the pitch and when the game restarted. The Sky Blues had their skipper Jordan Wills sent off.
There was a pitch invasion which delayed a poor first half even more.
Seven minutes into the second half and Anderson got through and drove into the net.
Play was held up again and when it restarted. Anderson scored a second after Lee Burge failed to hold a cross in the 63rd minute.
Jodi Jones and Andy Rose were sent on for a City side which was badly suffering to being down to ten men and not having recruited properly in the summer.
With fifteen minutes and Anderson scored again. That saw flares and a pitch invasion holding the game up even more as did an injury towards the end of an eventful game but one that will certainly be investigated by those who should have investigated what has been going on a long time ago.
